My Chinese New Year Holiday

It has been several days I’m away.. I bet everyone has had a wonderful Chinese New Year holiday.. It’s 4 days off from work. Happy Chinese New Year everyone! I didn’t spend my holiday with my fiance’.. hehe! Bile lagi nak menikmati cuti as single girl.. :D Actually, I just follow my parents balik kampong to my grandma’s house. So, balik kampung is quite a compulsory activity everytime cuti. Lagipun, my grandpa is not so well, he usually loves to eat but these days since dia tak brape sihat, he just eat so little. But, since lots of people around, my family, my aunts.. they love to masak – masak many things when they’re all together.. so my grandpa eats more than usual.. which is good to see him turning to his old-self.. and to me, it’s not so good since I’ll tend to eat a lot when balik kampung.. my mum suddenly so happy to cook.. so is my aunts and my grandma.. and I keep on eating.. Lolz.. there goes my diet.. :D

I go to Tesco Kampar 4 days straight.. from Saturday to Tuesday.. I know, Shah Alam got big tesco but  Kampar don’t have many place to go except Tesco :D Actually, I don’t really plan all those visits.. the 1^st day I just follow my aunt to buy stuff for my grandma.. then my brother keep saying he wants sushi king.. and Kampar Tesco got sushi king.. mind you :)

The next day we actually go visiting my grandpa’s aunt age like 90+.. she’s the only aunt my grandpa still have.. which to me is kind of amazing to still have someone with that age in the family. She’s actually sick few days back.. and getting better. It has been quite sometimes we haven’t visit her and she seems very happy.. she got lots of pretty bougainvillea and my mom start to pick some for her collection :D.. on the way back, we go to tesco again.. My grandpa wants to eat nasi tomato so my mom and my aunt wants to make it for him… it’s so delicious! Yummy!

In the evening.. my uncle wants to go to mamak stall to get some teh tarik.. so I just follow him.. but I had my mamak milo.. so pekat with fries.. cicah with chilli sauce and mayo.. My uncle had his sup kambing.. my God.. sedap jugak.. pekat.. Then we go to Pasar Malam.. and bought the steam bot thing.. sedap but dah naik harga.. 1 cucuk previously 30 sen now 50 sen plak.. but the kuah kacang is so nice.. that everytime beli pon tak cukup.. Then we go meeting En Li.. my mom’s relatives.. actually I’ve met him Saturday and he promotes me to join selling Tupperware stuff.. now we want to meet him to become Tupperware member..  So now I’ve become Tupperware member. I do like Tupperware.. ( I think it’s common to ladies) You know what, En Li works at rumah rehat Kampar which just open.. and.. he has been to switzerland, chiang mai and some other place because of his Tupperware sales.. my God.. wonder how he manage that.. maybe I should sell Tupperware to people in Bukit Naga..  and make some parti Tupperware hehe. :)

Monday my sister ask me to go to tesco again with her.. she wants to buy mangkuk ayam for my grandma.. My grandma loves mangkuk gambar ayam so much.. I think it’s Chinese type of bowl..  and it’s there for Chinese new year..  Then evening I just go around taking pictures of my village and showing my engagement pictures to my grandma and another uncle that just arrive..

Tuesday I follow my Mom to Pekan Kampar.. my mom in the mood of making pillow from kekabu.. so we go to Pekan Kampar buying materials and ask a Chinese tailor shop to make the pillow shape.. then we wait for the pillow to done sewing by strolling around tesco.. Tesco again J after that, we go back to that shop but it’s still not done, so we went to Target to just buang2 masa… but I manage to go to my previous butik pengantin.. which I sewa my baju from during my engagement.. Butik Andaman Dayang.. they got lots of baju baru from Indonesia like usual.. they can make baju baru as well and the price is so affordable.. but they made them in Indonesia.. I have to make up my mind if I want to get their service to do my baju in Indonesia..  then I ask my relatives that work in that boutique to buy me 2 corset in Indonesia if possible.... :) After that, we go home and start to make bantal kekabu.. It’s my first experience with making bantal.. The kekabu feel so soft to the hand.. it looks like Barbie hair.. well.. we manage to get 10 piece done..

Well, that’s my holiday entry… just simple relaxing holiday.. but still got butik kahwin portion.. hehe.

HaPpY BiRtHday Dear..

Yesterday is my darling's birthday.. :) I'm so happy to manage to celebrate with him.. Last year, I just wish him trough phone since I was in Italy.. so I've missed his last year's birthday..  and I just got him a Bialetti's small coffee maker.. ( Luv sales in Italy) If you want to go shopping in Italy.. go on sales seasons.. It's crazy with Zara's stuff price like 30+ in RM..  6 euros.. not to mention the various choice.. even cheap bag in market also got some style. Seb baik I haven't working yet.. so I can't stock up my clothes..

Actually, I didn't plan to go out yesterday.. thought that I just postphone this occasion since my mom said she wants to go back to kampung yesterday.. Now she's changing her plans and she wants to go back today. Hurray.. I can celebrate my darling's birthday on time... ( sadly, I didn't bring my camera.. ) Since it just an ordinary day, I promise Iwan to go makan - makan sea food. Iwan's favorite is actually Chiang Mai.. but I want to try some new place that's cheaper.. So we went to the Port.. and, it's not that famous Muara Ikan Bakar at Tanjung Harapan, ok.. It has nothing to do with the laut.. :D

We went to.. Di Selat.. It's not so famous.. I know.. but my officemates keep promoting me that this place despite the environment which is in the middle of the road, the food are delicious and cheap. We talking about ikan besar, ketam n udang besar here.. not the ordinary small2 seafood thing.. So we had medium size Jenahak 3 rasa.. which is actually can be eaten by 3 or 4 person.. tapi habis jugak.. it's our favourite.. and, we have 2 pieces of ketam yg big size.. masak cili ( manis sangat rase isi die), then udang goreng tepung.. 10 ekor je.. ( takut tak muat perut nak makan smue).. then, we had tomyam with like 6 pieces udang and 2 ekor sotong yg sedang2 je.. Air bebiase.. tea o ngan jus durian belanda.. and the price is... RM106 je.. of course that jenahak cost the big portion..  To my point of view.. I think it's cheaper than Muara and it taste better la to me..  Iwan is quite fussy about food taste.. so he can agree with this.. quite ok la..

Next time if I go to this place again.. I'll take some pics.. anyone yg interested leh tanye the location.. it's between north porth n west port..

EL and A Journey To Batu Pahat

Well it's wednesday.. Sangat la semangatnya wake up early and start cooking ayam masak merah with thoughts that today.. I'm going to bring my own bekal instead of kirim food dr orang lain.. Then, on the way to office my Mom start having this kind of weird and worst head ache.. and she wants me to bring her straight to clinics.. ( we usually go to SALAM) so I just go straight to SALAM.. I thought it won't takes too long but my Mom condition is not good that she needs some rest before she really can stand.. So I wait her there.. After 2 times cucuk and she rest.. doctor comes back and ask if she wants to get warded (private hospital which UiTM tak cover.. and my mom don't have insurance since die keje government.. so she said no.. and ask what's wrong with her health.. then doctor kata he's afraid my mom got infection in ear that trigger head ache.. so he refer her to Pakar Telinga that only come at 11.00.. then it's 11.00 so I decide to take EL.. dh lebih 2 hours la.. My dad is away in Sabah.. so I have to accompany my Mom since she didn't drive.. So I think I just stay home today if she needs anything urgent..and she's resting now..

So here am I trying to update my blog again.. :) Ok last Sunday I went to Batu Pahat.. with my fiance and his family.. His cousin punye wedding.. Batu Pahat is his late grandma's on his dad's side punye kampung.. Honestly, I hardly go to south since my kampung both in Perak..and I did my matriks in Penang.. and my brother study in Kedah.. so we just go to Utara.. The last time I went to Johor is when I study in UiTM shah alam.. and we did this assignment called Development Order..and my lecturer don't want us to just pick Local Authority in Selangor.. Since my friend Najwa hometown in Muar so we decide to go to Muar.. I think I've been to Johor for only 3 times before in my whole life.. When my aunt kahwin like 13 years ago.. when I go to Tioman via Johor in Form 3 and the one with Najwa.. So, I'm kind of like excited with the thoughts of Journey to The South.

So, the first thing my fiance said to me is.. In Batu Pahat.. they usually cook themselves Nasi Beriyani since almost everyone tahu masak..Well.. Nasi Beriyani Johor. So, to my dearest Iwan.. the best Nasi Beriyani apart from JM yg kat tesco shah alam yg ktorang slalu makan tuh.. is cooked by his own aunt.. and yes it's delicious coz I've taste that last time when his sister got married. But since this one kenduri at her own house so someone else cook for her.. it's not perfect but at least better than some caterers' here.. So, maybe Johor the best place to eat Nasi Beriyani :)

Apart from Nasi Beriyani..  this simple kenduri ade several jenis kueh.. meriahnye. Of course caterer sini tak  bagi camtu.. I actually tag along with him because I think I need to get to know his family as well since we're getting married. So everything goes good.. We also singgah at his another uncle's house.. and she plant many edible plants as oppose to my dad yg banyak tanam pokok landscape.. hehe.. I pick some Rosselle flower from her..

Iwan's dad actually bring his entertainment team for this kenduri in Johor.. for his sister..A bit on promotion.. Iwan's dad actually buat service for PA system.. he got his own team.. he good at playing keyboard and has one lady and one man attach with him for wedding  singing performance.. ( listening to them like listening to CD) He has been hired by hotel and VIP's for their function as well.. He has been long in industry, previously work with YAMAHA... An old man with passion in music.. His name is Abdul Rahman Sulaiman. If anyone interested for a quotation.. let me know. :)  He got team for Muzik Asli as well.. 

Some More Pakej Kahwin..

Last weekend is a very tiring one.. :( Saturday spend for looking around pakej kahwin.. then Sunday.. trip to Batu Pahat.. which is a day trip. Then Monday.. need to wake up early to drive to work.. So today, penat still tak hilang lagi..

Ok.. proceed.. Since Iwan live in Taman Sri Manja, which is near Taman Medan, he suggest that we both search around Taman Medan for bridal boutique.. So we went to 3 boutique that seems like bigger.. ( just to have many choices)

1) Sri Andaman Alfinaz

Ok, this boutique kind of interesting to me.. She has quite the latest baju design (those like cosry thing..   indonesian kebaya trend) with many colors.. the latest color like grey.. Serina anak chef wan green..

It just that the size probably limited.. but to those yg takde masalah nih.. there'll be no problems.. the  boutique also very big that the owner put most of the dress at the mannequeen.. so we can actually see the dress are pretty visually.. I'm not surveying the make up.. but a customer told me that it is fine.. they got latest 3 panel pelamin as well.. but that will increase the package price.. overall it's good.

2) Nora Andaman & Catering

This is the second boutique that I have visited.. well, i don't really prefer this one (sorry!) They said that new baju will come later (patching style).. currently still not the latest one.. the pelamin also not yet the latest one.. make up.. not the type that I prefer.. But it's cheap.. if you one cheap and lots of dress for the wedding.. you can come here.   

3) JR Butik Pengantin

This is the one that Iwan prefer.. I like the owner as well.. kak Rose. Iwan's sister once use her boutique service.. The package to me is really affordable.. It's owned by Rose JR, a make up artist.. has been in bussiness for so many years.. But she's moving to Puchong sometime in March.. I think she got her own pelamin.. she got the latest panel design as well.. even though still haven't update in her blog.. she told me that new dresses come this March.. ( the old one still stunning) she made them in Jakarta and Bandung.. ( most bridal boutique like that..)  you might need to add a bit for dresses with french lace which is higher quality.. I'm quite satisfied with what she offers.. and don't mind going to puchong to look for her..

Hari Makan Makan... ( how to diet actually!)

Wah.. wah.. banyak sungguh makan hari nih.. :)

My department make the 5S session today.. actually, for mengemas.. and I manage to tidy up a bit of my room..

I still wait for the new cabinet.. so that I can arrange everything perfectly in order. So sempena 5S nih, my friend cook nasi tomato.. which to Terengganu people.. they call it nasi minyak.. It's so delicious that I eat twice.. hehe.. They usually eat this nasi with ayam gulai.. but my preference is ayam masak merah.. Lucky she make both of it.. so I can taste both :) I did make them sandwiches for breakfast.. ( mackerel n mayo) 

Kind of a nice eating day.. 

So talking about diet.. I really want to be slimmer.. hope that i can reduce some weight.. and tummy trimming so that I can fit perfectly in my wedding dress.. which I haven't decide to ask who to make it for me... either to send my baju nikah to tailor..  or to send both baju to Unaisah.. I'm still calculating my budget.. but I want to make at least one baju with her.. since she got good review from people.. and she lives in shah alam.. which is easy for me to come and see her.. And I'm still thinking bout who going to make Iwan's baju.. ump.. maybe anyone can give suggestion.. 

I've booked my make up with Seindah Wajah.. which I've viewed their work when I meet Awin last wednesday.. I get Awin at least for 2 out of 3 days.. another 1 day probably her sister going to come (she's in the team as well and they've done lots of job esp for tv together) .. and she promotes her tailoring service as well.. start price like 250 + if i'm not mistaken.. And you can as well tempah your tudung with her.. it's kind of pretty.. :) since she has start a clothing line under name Najah.. Now I'm thinking bout tempah my tudung..

Well.. well.. I'll make a new survey tomorrow.. probably around Taman Medan area.. ( for my fiance'..) and I'll post what I've found out.. hehe..
